Project Summary

The Contractor shall implement a preventive maintenance program designed to eliminate or reduce the frequency of malfunction, reduce operational complaints, and extend the useful life of the equipment. The Contractor shall have available and readily accessible all required tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, skilled labor services and materials to perform all work necessary to maintain the traffic signal facilities in a workmanlike manner. The Contractor shall be equipped with spare parts sufficient to return a defective signal to operation following ordinary trouble calls. The Contractor shall have on-hand at least one (1) spare controller and conflict monitor for every twenty-five (25) intersections within the City area. The Contractor shall have a corporation yard, minimum of five bucket trucks and traffic signal electricians permanently stationed in Riverside County.
