SCOPE OF SERVICES The following is a list of potential projects for which professional services may be required: Design and project management of a vegetation mitigation project along the I-280 corridor, including frontage roads and cloverleaf on/off ramps, riparian areas, creeks, watersheds, and emergency access roads. Expand District capacity for evacuation route hardening projects, that may include frontage roads, on/off ramps, riparian areas, creeks, and emergency access roads, with vegetation mitigation, traffic control, and biological surveys. Design and project management of design for Community Shaded Fuel Break project, that may include fire roads, pedestrian trails, ridge line access, and privately owned lands, riparian areas, creeks, with vegetation mitigation and biological and archeological surveys

WORK DESCRIPTION. The work consists, in general, of installing 506 native plants in an eroding creek channel, with wire protection cages, and maintaining plants for two years as part of the landscape maintenance period, and all associated work.

SCOPE OF WORK The project consists of installing improvements on specific streets identified under Section 12 of these Special Provisions. The general work includes the installation of Soldier pile wall with lagging. Installation of rock grade control structure Installation of plant materials and erosion control. Performing other miscellaneous work as required in the plans or specifications. The site is presently in the condition it will be at the commencement of work. Failure to visit the site will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of executing the job as required by the Plans and Specifications.

The work consists, in general, in relocating overhead utility lines to below ground along an approximately 0.75-mile reach of roadway, including the installation of new utility boxes, vaults, and conduits along and within joint trenches, and all associated work, as shown on plans and described in the specifications with the title 2024 Underground Utility District in the Area around El Monte Fire Station and on file in the office of the Town Engineer. Surface features, including pavement, traffic striping, curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, etc., are to be restored. Water pollution control work and an approved traffic control system have to be put in place throughout the duration of the Project.

WORK DESCRIPTION. This project consists of replacing various segments of the existing sanitary system. The base bid work includes, but not limited to, mobilization and demobilization; potholing all crossing utilities; cleaning/de-rooting and color video inspection of the sewer mains prior to construction; replacing existing sewer pipe via pipe bursting method and pipe reaming method; reconnecting sewer main to existing manhole; reconnecting 4″ sewer laterals to new piping; providing post construction cleaning, pressure testing, and color video inspection; repair and/or replacement of pavement markings, and street monuments; restoring all improvements disturbed by the project at various locations throughout the Town of Los Altos Hills; replacing landscape in kind to the original condition; replacing the asphalt pavement, and replacing all damaged properties caused by this work; and doing all appurtenant work as shown and described in the contract documents with the title 2023 Sanitary Sewer Repair and Replacement Project and on file in the office of the Public Works Director.
