The Work will consist of: Sanborn County Park is an approximately 3,500-acre park nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Saratoga and Skyline Boulevard. The project site is located to the south of Sanborn Road within the Core Use Area (CUA) near the main entrance of the Park. The project consists of various trail and accessibility improvements within the CUA. The project will provide improved access around the Core Use Area including reconstructed accessible paths, features, and site furnishings. The new trails will connect to the park’s existing trail system and eventually connect to the larger regional trail system planned to come through the Core Use Area in the future.

The Work will consist of: Martial Cottle Park is an approximately 287-acre property located in a residential and commercial neighborhood of South San Jose, bounded by Branham Lane, Snell Avenue, and Chynoweth Avenue. Martial Cottle Park is jointly owned by the California Department of Parks and Recreation and the County of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department. The Park has been continuously farmed by the Cottle and Lester families for nearly 150 years, from 1864 to the present. Consistent with the Donor’s Vision, the Park is a public historic agricultural park, educational facility, and working farm that promotes and sustains farming traditions for the residents and visitors of Santa Clara County

SCOPE OF SERVICE Purpose The general purpose of this project is to assess, upgrade, and install audio-visual solutions with modernized and integrated new technologies throughout the library district. The SSCLD intends to align its audio-visual standards with those of the County of Santa Clara (“County”) to ensure adequate support from the County’s Technology Services and Solutions (TSS) Department and consistent user experience. The SCCLD is looking for a contractor or contractors that can suggest solutions to meet the library’s audio-visual needs, procure hardware and software needed to implement audio-video solutions, perform professional quality installations, and provide continuing preventative or break-fix maintenance and on-call services.

THE WORK The Work will consist of: Renovation and expansion of the existing Emergency Department (ED) at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) located on the first level of the existing West Wing building at SCVMC in San Jose, California. This package includes site utilities and associated make-ready work followed by the construction for the expansion of the Emergency Department. Overall project building areas are approximately 41,836 sq. ft. including canopy covered areas at Level 1, 11,577 sq. ft of the expansion of basement level and other areas associated with new construction in the east courtyard infill. The project is anticipated to be constructed in three (3) major milestones for the site utilities scope and four (4) major milestones for the building expansion scope. The milestones are outlined in the drawings in order to maintain the operations of the ED during the site utilities and building construction. Project site utilities work consists of the following that involves architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical; temporary signage to direct path of travel during construction. A minimum of two (2) means of egress to remain active during all milestones of construction.

Conduct various sanitary sewer spot repairs in the foothills of the District northeast of Miguelita Road using the method of open cut. Remove existing 6-inch VCP and install approximately nine hundred and seven linear feet (907’) of 6-inch PVC SDR26 sanitary sewer, remove and replace fourteen (14) 4”x6” wyes, and install one (1) new 4’ diameter plastic manhole in an easement. Bids must be specifically addressed as stated above or risk being misdelivered. Bids not received by the District at the address and by the deadline stated above will be returned unopened.
