Follow District protocol and procedures for construction projects. Oversee and coordinate the work of the material testing Laboratory. Report daily to SDCCD staff.

Scope of Services The San Diego Community College District is soliciting written statements of qualifications (SOQ) from professional firms to provide civil engineering services in order to perform the necessary services for the schematic design, design development, construction document production, bidding phase services and construction administration for various Infrastructure projects on an as-needed basis. The scope of work for this project is to be determined, but not limited to document and upgrade existing wet utilities mapping, storm drain, water (domestic and fire), gas, sanitary sewer, reclaimed water, chilled and hot water, topographical surveys, grading, and roadway studies and permit processing support through DSA and/or the City of San Diego for future campus roadways, fire lanes and driveways to public roadways. This project is funded by Measure HH, a $3.5 million bond measure passed by the voters of San Diego on November 5, 2024.

These services will be used to implement various small projects as needed in Bond Measure HH, a $3.5 billion bond passed by the voters of San Diego on November 5, 2024. All new projects or modernizations above an approximate value of $5,000,000 will be under a separate RFQ or RFP. The District is intending to hire multiple firms for a period of up to five years.

Scope of Services The San Diego Community College District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Environmental Consulting firms to provide comprehensive services on upcoming projects at City College, Mesa College, Miramar College and the College of Continuing Education campuses. The District is planning to award as-needed contracts for a period up to five years. These services will be used in the implementation of the projects covered in Measure HH – an $3.5 Billion bond measure passed by the voters of San Diego on November 5, 2024. Scope of Services The following describes the services the selected Firm(s) may perform on an as-needed basis for various District projects: Asbestos survey of existing sites and preparation of an abatement plan. Lead survey of existing sites and preparation of an abatement plan. Provide laboratory testing, as required of hazardous materials and assist with abatement. Perform Environmental Site Assessments; Phase I and Phase II. Provide assistance for DTSC compliance. Assist with permit process through the County or other agencies, as required.

Scope of Services The San Diego Community College District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from California licensed and qualified DSA approved Testing Labs and Geotechnical Engineers to provide comprehensive professional services on upcoming projects including new construction and renovation at City College, Mesa College, Miramar College, and the College of Continuing Education seven campuses. These services will be used in the implementation of the remaining projects covered in Measure HH – a $3.5 billion bond passed by the voters of San Diego on November 5, 2024. The District is planning to award multiple as-needed contracts for a period of up to five years. Scope of Services The following describes the services the selected Firms will perform on an as-needed basis for various District projects: Provide comprehensive material testing and special inspection as required by DSA and the contract documents under the direction of the District Architect and the Project Inspector. Provide subsurface exploration and collection of representative subsurface samples of foundation media as necessary for laboratory analysis. Provide on-site field investigation and observation during grading, excavation and sub-grade excavations and preparation. Provide laboratory testing, as required of the representative samples recovered to measure pertinent soil parameters or engineering properties, including hazmat in soil. Perform soil engineering analysis and evaluation of the field and laboratory test data to provide the District with earthwork and foundation recommendations. Review existing soils reports from nearby projects. Prepare a written report that includes recommendations from the evaluation of field investigation and observation and/or laboratory test results of each identified task, that is suitable for submission to the State reviewing agency (Division of the State Architect) and adequate to fulfill the technical data with recommendations needed by the Architectural/Structural design team. Provide and/or review bid specifications for earth work Provide required documentation for DSA project certification.
