The project description is as follows: The proposed street improvement project is located on Murrieta Hot Springs Road between Margarita Road and Winchester Road, approximately one and a half miles east of Interstate 215. The primary focus of the project is to widen Murrieta Hot Springs Road from four lanes to six lanes, with new traffic signals at the intersection of Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Calle Del Lago, and a signal modification at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Via Princesa. Other improvements consist of but are not limited to: sidewalks, street light installation, water quality bmp’s, landscaped and hardscaped raised medians clearing and grubbing, pavement rehabilitation, cold milling, utility coordination, signing and striping, etc.

Scope of Services The City’s Engineering Department is requesting proposals from qualified firms for an update of its Pavement Management Program (PMP) which was previously updated in 2020. The 2024 PMP update will include a comprehensive survey and inventory of the City’s arterial, major, secondary, and collector public streets and roadway system consisting of approximately 90 centerline miles (all non-local streets). Services requested include inputting all data collected during the survey into the City’s PMP. The City currently uses the MicroPAVER® software. Documents relating to the City’s 2020 PMP, consisting of a comprehensive survey and inventory of ALL City streets (Local and Arterial/Collector), will be made available to the selected consultant in order to support their efforts on the 2024 PMP update.

Scope of Services The preparation, construction, and installation of a new parking lot; entryway monument at the corner of Jefferson Ave & Kalmia St; drainage improvements; lighting and electrical improvements; traffic signal control cabinet relocation (additive bid item); and landscape improvements. The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above-stated project. The City of Murrieta will provide the City seals for the monument, the Contractor will install. A third party will furnish and install the two 5’ x 10’ video boards shown on the monument plans.Contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements and materials quantities.

Scope of Services The preparation, construction and installation of new playground equipment and/or replacement equipment at four (4) separate park locations in the City of Murrieta. The City will provide all playground equipment to be installed by the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for the logistics (forklift and operator) and transportation of all playground equipment from storage locations to the different installation sites. Most equipment is stored at the City of Murrieta Public Works Yard at 41625 Fig Street, Murrieta. Some material may be stored at the City of Temecula Jefferson Recreation Center at 41375 McCabe Ct, Temecula. SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected firm(s) shall provide fire inspection and plan check services as requested by the City on an on-call, as-needed basis. Such services shall include enforcement of the City’s laws and codes (such as local amendments) and all applicable California State fire codes and regulations; review of construction drawings to ensure compliance with City and State adopted laws and codes; interfacing with permit applicants and City staff and conducting inspections. Specific projects may include residential and non-residential projects. Any single job may require one or more subsequent reviews of submitted plans. The type of proposed plan check work may include, but is not limited to, fire alarm, fire sprinklers, on-site underground water systems, special structures four or more stories, special hazards, etc., multi-family/motel/hotel (applies to both building and fire sprinkler plans as separate submittals), fire protection systems, fuel storage, special events/outdoor assembly, fire access and water, high pile storage, hood duct system, compressed gas systems, flammable or combustible liquids and hazardous materials.

SCOPE OF WORK Respondent understands that the scope of work includes purchasing, providing, and installing all components needed to install a new, fully functioning, automatic backup emergency generator at the City of Murrieta City Hall and Fire Station 1 facilities. This includes all electrical and mechanic work needed to properly install the generator according to all state and local codes along with training and warranty agreement to the satisfaction of the City’s Project Manager. In general, this restoration project consists of adding native species through planting and seeding at various riparian sites for the temporary environmental impacts of the Clinton Keith Road Extension Project (Phase 3) improvements. The combined restoration sites consist of approximately 1.7 acres located adjacent to Clinton Keith Road, the Arch Culvert Structure east of Leon Road, French Valley Creek Bridge, and a segment of the realigned Briggs Road. The work to be done consists of clearing and grubbing, soil preparation, removal of non-native/invasive vegetation, plant installation, hydroseeding, irrigation, plant establishment, and a 5 year monitoring and maintenance period. These efforts shall follow requirements in, “On-Site, Temporary Impacts for the Clinton Keith Road Extension Project, Segment 4 Riverside County, California, Habitat Mitigation and Monitoring Plan (HMMP)” dated October 20th, 2021.
